General information
We process personal data only where necessary to operate the website, respond to enquiries, or carry out pre-contractual and contractual measures. Personal data is information that can be used to identify you personally.
Hosting and server logs
When the website is accessed, technically necessary data such as IP address, date and time, requested file, referrer, browser and operating system may be processed. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the website. Data is deleted when no longer required unless legal or security-related retention is necessary.
Cookies and language preference
We use only technically necessary cookies. The “site_lang” cookie stores the selected language for up to one year. A PHP session cookie may be used to protect the contact form from abuse and normally expires with the browser session. The legal basis is Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We currently use no tracking, analytics or marketing cookies.
Contact enquiries
When you contact us, we process your name, contact details, subject, message and optional telephone number to answer the enquiry. Contract-related processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; other enquiries are processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Data is deleted after the enquiry has been completed unless statutory retention obligations apply.
Protection against form abuse
The contact form uses a CSRF token, an invisible verification field, a minimum completion time and temporary rate limiting. A non-readable checksum derived from the IP address and timestamps may be stored temporarily for no more than 15 minutes. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the security and availability of the form.
Recipients and processors
Data is received only by parties that require it for the stated purposes. These may include hosting, IT and email service providers acting as processors. Other disclosure occurs only where required to perform a contract, comply with law, or with your consent.
No analytics or embedded third-party content
We currently use no analytics or advertising services and embed no maps, videos, social-media plugins or external fonts that transfer data merely when the page is viewed. External websites are contacted only when you actively click a link.
Security and your rights
The production website uses SSL/TLS encryption. Subject to statutory requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection under Articles 15–21 GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time with future effect by contacting us.
Right to complain and changes
You may lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority, in particular the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Rhineland-Palatinate. Information is available at www.datenschutz.rlp.de. We update this policy when the website, services or legal requirements change.
